Coming to the End…

Here we are coming to the close of another year. I don’t know about you but I’m ready to say goodbye to 2024. There were some very trying times this year some that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy and I pray that I never have to live through again. Don’t get me wrong there were some good times as well but for some reason the bad stand out. Isn’t that how it always is? We have a hard time focusing on the bad rather than the good. That’s one thing I need to get better about and I hope to do in the future. Not making any resolutions over here because I tend to break them before January is even over, lol!

I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays! In addition to all the holiday celebrations we were busy running here and there with our German family that has been in town. I decided to to give myself some much needed rest and take some time off through New Year’s Day. I did get some time to squeeze some art in. This past week I posted another Youtube video of me making some art that you can watch here.

I also made a vision board for 2025. I haven’t done one of these in a looong time and certainly not to this magnitude but I’ve got big dreams and goals that I want to hit and I’ve read that people who keep the vision in front of them get things done. I recently read a book called The Alone Advantage by Terri Savelle Foy. It is filled with inspiration to help achieve your dreams and goals and I included some of what was in that book in my vision board.

I also have a lot on my studio table right now as I’m doing more art testing for the content I will be providing in 2025. I’m working on a journal showcasing different handwriting style for a magazine submission (one of my goals). I’m working on another art journal at the same time. I’m also getting ready to recreate art in from old artwork that I made in 2020 so that testing is under way as well.

We’ve just got a few more days until 2025. I pray that you have a blessed and prosperous New Year filled with big dreams!
